In 2019, Duncan Stutterheim and Peter Hillebrands joined forces to launch something bold: the A’DAM Ride — a VR experience that fused cutting-edge tech with full-on immersion, located in the A'DAM Tower. That first ride set the tone.
Then the world hit pause. But while everything shut down, we locked in. We believed — no, knew — that VR wasn’t a gimmick. It was the future. So we kept building, testing, pushing.
After launching our first VR arcade and coaster, it was clear we had something real. Something powerful. That’s when The VR Boys became more than just a name — it became a crew. A handpicked team of tech-heads, storytellers, builders, and believers.
We’re The VR Boys. And we’re just getting started.

We stand for doing things right — no shortcuts, no compromises. We’re obsessed with creating what’s next, not copying what’s already been done. And above all, we believe the experience comes first — it has to hit hard, feel real, and leave a mark.

2019

Company Founded

What started as a few Amsterdam guys geeking out over VR turned into a full-blown mission to shake up the game — one ride at a time.
2020

First VR arcade

A year later, we launched our first VR arcade — a no-nonsense playground where our vision finally hit the real world (and blew a few minds in the process).
2021

First Custom VR Ride

The year after, we leveled up with our first custom VR Ride — built from scratch, maxed out on immersion, and proof that we weren’t just playing around anymore.
